Casino Owner Posts Profit
The Alliance Gaming Corporation, a casino operator and slot machine maker, posted a quarterly profit yesterday after recording gains from asset sales.
The company, which is based in Las Vegas, reported income of $45.9 million, or 89 cents a share, in contrast to a year-earlier loss of $11.4 million, or 23 cents a share.
